Endless Walk

by **SERENITY**   Oct 5, 2003

Alone I sat on
This path of life

Couldn’t move forward
Because my heart wasn’t right

People would come
I’d progress a bit

I’d tire of their games
So down I’d sit

Then one came and
Took my hand

He said walk slow
To the Promised Land

So there we walked
Grasping palms

Laughing with smiles,
Singing our songs

A fork ahead had
Two separate paths

One blessed by love
One drenched in wrath

One was short
We could see its end

But along its streets
Was drama and sin

The other was long
The end would come never

His eyes whispered soft
“Let’s walk forever”

I love you Nicky Brown
