Lies

Drowning in a pool of lies
She sinks to the bottom
With one last cry

Trying to hold on
To pull herself back up

She sinks in deeper
feeling guilty
and always denied

A cry in the night
A scream in the Dark

Faster she drowns
Deeper she sinks

Swimming toward
Heaven's Light

She awakes in
the middle of the night

Terrified
in deep Fright.
