Due to the tears
I have lately cried
My eyes are veiled and nearly blind
I gaze around with inanition
Through a state of contemplation
I talk to myself
In hope it will help
To reset the time
When we have said
What I would rather delete
Out of my mind
Still tattooed on my heart
Last night was long
It took lots of time
To wipe away my tears
With the scenes of you and me
What we have done
Though we didn’t mean it so rough
But the words still drown
As echo in my head
I never believed
This could truly end
But time overtook
Everything we had
From one moment to the next
I know it’s the best
For my wounds to be healed
In a rush of distress
The time will nearly repeal
My tears and all the pain
