The song of such sweet sorrow

by Brooke   May 27, 2005

Flowers in full bloom
Trees swaying with the wind
You hear the song of such sweet sorrow.
The earth is your friend.

Taking for granted all of it's beauty
Birds chirping in the light
You hear the song of such sweet sorrow.
Lightning bugs glow into the night.

Watch the lightning strike
Listen to the thunder roar
You hear the song of such sweet sorrow.
Listen to the rain pour.

A child screams
A child crys
You hear the song of such sweet sorrow.
Look into the childs loving eyes.

A sun may set
A moon may rise
You hear the song of such sweet sorrow.
The earths beauty never dies.
