I like feeling Happy
Though its a rare feeling
I'm happy more and more
I think I'm finally healing
I used to sit and cry everyday
I used to hate myself in the worst way
Now I'm smiling and laughing easy
Now a few things are starting to please me
Cutting is something I thought I'd do forever
Everyday I'm feeling better and better
The depression is lifting
The pattern is shifting
I used to think no one understood
Now I know telling others was good
Getting it off my chest was great
And I'm learning to deal with the fading hate
Why I did it, I don't understand
I just want to thank those who lent me a hand
Thank you to those who simply cared
Now you'll know I'll always be there
Now longer the urge to strip away life
I'm learning to deal with the pent up strife
