Wrapped Around Your Finger

by Spanky   May 28, 2005

As you graduated today
I wondered if we could be together one day
I know it’s impossible but I want to be so much
It wouldn’t mattered if you were Spanish, German, or Dutch
But because your skin is brown and mine is fair
My parents’ visions became impaired
When I am near you I’m at a lost of words
And all other thoughts are deferred
At the sound of your voice my heart skips a beat
And I to you must admit defeat
You’ve got me now no need to try anymore
Because you I already adore
In my mind every thought of you will linger
‘cause I’m helplessly wrapped around your finger
