Don\'t Mourn Me

by lindzy   May 28, 2005

Do not stand by my grave and weep
Because I'm not there, I don't sleep
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the crystal glints on snow
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift but silent rush
Of chirping birds in their flight
I am the shining stars at night
I am the sunlight on harvested grain
I am the gentle sweetness of rain
Do not mourn this troubled teen
That had to leave, cuz life's too mean
Look at a rainbow and there I'll be
For now, till then, for eternity
So do not stand by my grave and cry
Because I'm not there, I didn't die
