Not another forced love*

by Stacinator   May 28, 2005

My world once stopped,
When you were inside it.
My heart skipped beats,
It was impossible to hide it...

The walls of my mind,
Were decorated with you.
Thinking of your perfection,
And how you were my dream come true.

Suddenly how perfect you were
Didn't feel so right..
Our communication died,
And we began to fight.

Our relationship was going downhill
After each and every day.
Nothing was the same,
And you were slowly breaking away.

Now you were just the "boyfriend"
A label with no meaning
Thoughts of the end were painful
And I had wished I was dreaming.

The pressure was heavy,
Because love you can't force
And I broke it off for good,
Then everything just got worse.

You "forgot" all the memories,
You started rumors of hate
You acted like you didn't care,
But I know that it was all fake.

Just a show for your friends
Because you think you're so rough
Well I broke your heart...
And to do so was tough.

Friends we're not,
And I thought we would last.
I wouldn't go back...
Because I don't live in the past.
