Looking into the mirror
What do you see?
A person you love
Or a person you want to be?

I see a girl
With ideas and dreams
A girl who is quite and shy
But loves to be loud it seems

A girl with a future
A future full of friends
Friends that are always there
And the girl’s love for them never ends

A girl who is a soccer player
But loves the color pink
A girl who adores candy
But still loves to think

A girl who is a dreamer
And loves to smile
A girl who wishes upon stars
And wants her life to be worthwhile

I see a girl
Who is everything I wanted to be
I see this girl
Staring through the mirror back at me
