She wins again

by kopernicus   May 29, 2005

I will not cry
I will not cry
Oh what the heck anyway
The tears still come
But not in front of her, at least
"I still win!"
She yells after me
My anger or my tears
I can't tell which
Lump in my throat
Why does she have to do that?
All the time, so confident
Calm and threatening
I will never win
Against her
Because she controls everyone
The world on a leash
I will never win
I will always be stepped on
Looked over
By family and friend
I can never win
They all look to her
Congratulating her victory
I can never win
They'll never see me
Bleeding in the dust
I can never win
And she grinds my face into it
I can never win
Sitting in my room, I silently scream
