Doesn't it seem like this happens so many times in your life. You can wait and wait and wait for something, you either get it or it happens just as you want it no more.
Such is life.

I really like the repetition in this poem, even though it's short; it makes you feel like the author has spent an eternity waiting.

The more I read of your work the more I enjoy it.
I think a trip to my favourite authors is in order.
