My Insufficient Lexicon

by Ivan Thomas   May 29, 2005

It's those butterflies in my stomach when you smile...
Call it what you want,
But I'll call it love.

It's that satisfaction that I had when I wrapped my arms around you...
Call it what you want,
But I'll call it love.

It's that beat my heart missed when our fingers locked together...
Call it what you want,
But I'll call it Love.

It's the fact that I hate Fridays because I won't see you 'til Sunday...
Call it what you want,
But I'll call it Love.

When I'm holding your hand,
It's the feeling that if the moment lasted the rest of my life, then it still would be long enough...
Call it what you want,
But I'll call it love.

I don't worry because of your outstanding smile. "If a smile could brighten a person's day, then your smile could brighten the whole world." That's why I love your smile, and your eyes simply magnify it.

I can't explain my feelings better than that. So call it what you want but because my lexicon is insufficient, I Love You!
