Dreams Dont Last Forever

Dreams don’t last forever
Is what I’ve figured out
You have to wake-up at one time
To see what life is all about.

Most dreams are full of characters
But mine aren’t quite the same,
For mine are all of an angel
And her love is her claim to fame.

“I really do care”
Is what this angel said
But I do not buy any of this
This lie that she has led.

I do not think she meant to
But she’s ripped away my heart
Totally shred it to pieces
And has torn it completely apart.

This angel of mine
Keeps appearing in my dreams
She is sent straight from God
It’s as though as it seems

For in this world I am alone,
No angels or any friends
For I wish dreams could last forever,
But it doesn’t look like that from my lens.

I wish my angel would come back
But I do not think she will
I think she is gone forever
And myself I’ll have to kill.

Since dreams don’t last forever
Her I had a chance to see
But I guess that my angel
Is only seen like that by me.
