I've Given Up

I’ve given up on life,
It doesn’t matter anymore.
I’ve tried too many times
This has happened before.

I don’t want to hear
What you have to say.
I know it won’t be true,
So you can do what you may.

I know what has happened,
I know we make mistakes.
But don’t you understand?
Honesty is what it takes!

You can only try for so long,
But then you have to fail.
That’s what has happened,
Can’t you see underneath the veil?

I’ve given up, don’t you see?
This has eaten up my heart
All up to nothing
I can not say that I cherish thee.

You’ve had so many chances,
You know you blew them all
Don’t you get it?
You’ve drove me through the wall!
