Life

by Alyson Mary   May 29, 2005

You feel as if you won't survive.
Your heartaches so bad it seems you have to cry.
The pain of losing someone is hard to leave behind.
The world around you suddenly stops.
You're all alone and not on the top.
You want to cry out for help, but you realize you're by yourself.
When is the pain going to stop?
You search for a door but stumble and fall.
Now you know you're going to die.
You close your eyes and say goodbye.
When all of a sudden you're warmed by a light.
The things around you start to grow.
The tulips bloom and the daisies soar.
And in the light you see a door.
You pray to God because you don't hurt anymore.
You walk to the door and the birds start to sing.
God responds back,"You'd be surprised at what tomorrow can bring."
