A Shimmering Blade (Part 2)

by Elizabeth Ann   May 30, 2005

~Part two of The King’s Justice
*****************

What would I say if I were to die tonight…oh grateful King for my touch, centered over level indulgences and a furrowed race to make it last whilst anticipating its peak. I miss your gasp while I leave you spent…surging your fire and I its sire but more the man whom struggled to let me leave.
*Caresses a fine cheek*

Can I help it should I kill to save my own or another I could not bare harm? Yes, I would slay without question were they to confront me, and even worse a sin I would not deny such a fiend who tested me.
*Removes his shimmering blade*

No more could I slay you with this my life’s blood, so it is thus…and I will stand here and look upon thine enemy. Always keeping with thy fears my company, a shadow of the dark hence ye may call the darkness an ally.
*He back away, lowering his bow*

And none too soon shall I come to you and find your lust beseeching mine.
For now trust in me your silent blade…and I will think of thee as always my sheath.
*He leaves the King smiling, whilst his majesty fauns his stubborn friend*.
