Broken Will

by squirttt   May 31, 2005

Her words ring through my head like unforgettable demons
Lingering, haunting, painfully giving me reasons
She’s torn, broken up inside because of me
She believes from her you flee
Coming back to me once more
Just as before, losing the one she adores
Her shattered dreams break my wings
Faulting my desires, silencing this song I sing
This song for you, the song of our love;
This fantasy that we both dream of
I’m caught in between
the love of my life and what’s unseen
the unimaginable: a friend held dear
the knowledge of a silenced love of which I fear
a love that will ruin my feelings
for guilt and a selfless heart is unwilling.
