Teenage Eyes*+*

by Liz   May 31, 2005

What do you see when you look into these teenage eyes?

Do you see all the secrets and lies?

Kept in dept within my soul,

eating my heart away till it takes its toll.

As it makes another hole.

My heart in shatters,

those have hurt me, that put the holes there, is all that shouldn't matter.

Though its still in my head,

ringing as i lay in my bed.

Absorbing my pain the sheets serve,

though its leaving me it still can get on my nerve.

Those betrayed me, those who gave me these scars,

as these scars run deep inside this teenage body.

Those demons that murdered my trust,

allowing me to be a different person.

I am strong, wise, I've learned my lesson.

Behind this laughter is pain,

temporally it stings, all i see is vein.

As the feeling leaves, so does my laughter.

I see how my friends are,

I see how little of scars.

This is what makes me unique,

this is what time buys,

what do you see when you look into these teenage eyes?
