My Fairy Tale Ending

No words can erase
Exactly how you make me feel
The emotions inside my broken heart
Are so completely real.
So many tears
Can explain what I cannot speak
Words from inside my mind
Are released in these tears that streak.
Thinking of your face
Can only make me smile
And hearing the sweet thing spoken with your voice
Always makes life worthwhile.
I thought you should know
That I have always been in love with you
You may not show those feelings back
But all that matters is that mine are true.
You’ve moved on from your past
Yet how was I supposed to know our story would end
Real life fairy tale endings aren't like in the books
She your girlfriend now, therefore I just can’t win.
How was I supposed to know
That my fairy tale ending would leave me here to cry
I didn’t know that our story was over
And that it would end with you goodbye..
