Did you

by quick&painless   May 31, 2005

Did you watch your brother
get murdered
with your father's
bare hands?

Did you grow up with
no food, clothes,
or a box of
crayons?

Did you dread each
day, knowing
you would come home
to get hit?

Did you hurt
so bad,
you couldn't bear
to sit?

Did you cry yourself
to sleep each
night, praying
you could die?

Did you get raised,
taught to
cheat, steal
and lie?

Did you get
sold on the streets
for money and
drugs?

Did you live
next door to
a house of
thugs?

Everyone has
their own
share of
problems

Every cutter
has a reason.
if they didn't cut,
the world would be solemn.

It doesn't matter
if you did or not,
that's besides
the point.

Just cut away.
I promise
it won't
disappoint

yea... I know it's not to good but I just needed to write something.

that poem was good. I'm not a fan of cutting I have too many friends that do. I don't know what it feels like. It may help I don't know I just always think there has to be a better way...life can seem so low that you can't see an upside but in every life there is one... whether its good true friendships that always shine through or something else there is always something small or big that is an upside... always try to look for that. please. I honestly hope you are okay. xxx
