The Innerstate

by Kim   May 31, 2005

Riding on the inner state I feel the wind in my hair,
Thinking things couldn't any worse than trying to get there,
But it seems that life just comes in many ways,
It's all just a memory now to where my life has gone,
When ever I'm alone and life has done me wrong,

The inner state takes me to where I need to be,
Just a way to travel somewhere else to be free,
It's not to far away to ride to where ever you are,
From the distance we live,to travel so far,

Driving down the inner state to no one knows where,
I see those mountains with the window down I smell the fresh air,
It's what I sometimes call an old way to travel,
Riding in a car that seems like forever,

Driving on the inner state bound to no where special,
Catching up to places that are meaningful,
It takes me to another side of the world around us,
Knowing that tomorrow is just another time trapped inside this house,

Just keeping in tune to the radio as I kept onward to anywhere I want,
Knowing that tomorrow is surely gonna stop,
Listening to the noise outside I keep my car in tune,
Hoping that another day was going to be here soon,
