Even in their Darkness

by Ð맆îñ¥   May 31, 2005

Some would say I am blessed
To see beyond our lies
But I uncover all secrets
Find things that I despise

A white ghost possesses me
A free nature within
To shield me from the secrets
To see beneath the skin

Bold and brave, cunning, sly
All are shown to my eyes only
But I'm sentenced to solitude
A life secluded, lonely

I know those that I can trust
I know who to avoid
I know where to give in to lust
I see those who should be destroyed

I have the power to do it
My hands are a portal to light
Power blossoms like petals
And gives to my eyes their sight

My senses are strong; my instincts are good
And yet an aberrant life I lead
Too much knowledge is bestowed on me
But I always strive to succeed
Even in their darkness
I see my light

**wasn't sure where to place this, i have put it in unexplained dark but i would also consider sadness**

Amazing Job! I loved the lines...
"My senses are strong; my instincts are good
And yet an aberrant life I lead
Too much knowledge is bestowed on me
But I always strive to succeed"

--Sometimes I feel like this ghost possesses me too, hun, therefore, you're not alone.

    Love, Heather
