The Kisses Of The Rain

by browneyes   May 31, 2005

She always loved the rain
Said it felt like light kisses on her skin
She opened her arms and spun around
And we'd run through it like little kids
Her hair would flatten
And her makeup would ruin
But it only made her more beautiful
The rain had a way of making her look enchanting
Sometimes I'd stare at her
The way the water hit her face
And the moon would shine on her figure
In the spotlight she would dance
And the night seemed perfect
It was perfect
Loving her like there was no tomorrow
I'd guide my hand across her skin
Sweet and soft
Just like her whisper
When she told me she loved me
I go back every once in awhile
And I can still feel her kisses on my skin
Every time it rains
