Bequeathes the Heart

by Eden   Jun 1, 2005

Flow to my arms...hear my muffled tears.
Come into me, my face will haunt your dreams...
Soothing touch to tender cheek, I kiss your black lips...
Never to stifle a rich scream from that of your richest fears.

Twisted in stone, my heart is yearning...
Come to me...to me...I pray.
Tenacious claws to tender back
Always to hear your screams...always I am learning.

"Peaceful bliss!" My face is saying
That you are mine to hold and love.
Face and heart are different in thoughts
For my heart, to Darkness, is praying.....

Uneasiness grips so tight to my haunting
So typical of you to fall so easily to me
Clouded minds bear the brunt of stupidity
The price of the fear you were flaunting.

Feelings unwinding...take my hand.
Hearts are screaming...
One for love...
And one for life...
You hide from me...but I have found you...
My batlike wings spread wide to touch the sky.
I land not far from where you cringe...
My heart has won my face over
And now my eyes are maroon with lingering evilness...my Mistress.
Tingling expectation rattles my brain
As I step closer...then ever closer to your fresh blood that is still coursing through your luscious veins.
You are mine to hold and devour...
My face could never have won that which was never hers.
Your hand in mine, I crush it...bones and all...I can feel more than hear the small, crunching pops as your scream rippled through my aura of darkness....

Bequeathes the Heart of me tonight...
Bequeathes the Inner Demon of Might...
This is what is left of my lingering Sight...
I have won.

To be honest I dont know what to make of dark poetry, but still I see how clever your wording is and marvel at your poetic output. Inspiration visits you far more frequently than I. 5/5
