Forbidden Light

by Lithium   Jun 1, 2005

She takes out her black pen starts to write,
About the journeys she’s taken through her life,
The lows and the highs of a teenage girl,
Who never learnt to be free, she wanted to end her world,

One slash of a knife across her wrist,
Something she could never resist,
Each night taking out her blade,
Making problems slowly fade,

Everyday she carries something sharp,
Incase she feels the need to tear her skin apart,
In her pocket all the objects lay,
Waiting to come out at the end of the day,

This is her life what she has become,
She can’t take it back what she has done,
She’ll continue to take out her tool each night,
And keep looking for the forbidden light.
