Second chance

What would we do differently if we had the choice,
would we now speak without anger and use a softer voice
would we take back pain we caused in the heart
would we do things differently if we had a new start
would we stick together regardless of the tide
would we now face it together and refuse to hide
but we all know that cant be done we cannot set the stage
because the wisdom to change comes only with age
we all have a purpose while on this earth
a few will stand out but we all have our worth
if we did have that power to turn backl the time it would upset the chain
for we must know of our losses to know what we gain
