Secret Admirer

A hopeless Romantic
Yes that I am
But I find myself asking myself
Do you have to meet somebody to actually fall in love with them

Do you have to feel there passionate touch
Or do you have to feel there warm breathing behind your ears
As you imagine them cuddling with you on the beach under the moonlight

Do you need to feel there hugs
So you can feel that much more secure?
Do you need to tell them you miss them and appear at there door
Do you need to give them flowers in person

Do you need to rest your head on there chest and feel as there heart pounds faster because your there

Or can you let your imagination take your breath away
Can you fill her presence with your imagination
Can you tell you care, no not because you know her
But because you feel connected with her on a different level

Can you let your imagination take control
Perhaps that's true love
Love that isn't based on physical appearance nor feeling the feeling you need to feel with that person by your side

Perhaps true love isn't seeing the person at all
Or perhaps it's just waiting for the write moment when you feel you have there heart
No not because of the attraction but because of your deep words over the telephone

Because your words touched her heart
Not what you have
Or what you have yet to accomplish
Could that be true love?
Or at least on the way to something special?

I find myself asking this
Well because, I don't know the answer
Because whoever has ever experienced something like this has kept it a secret?

But my secret is out and I'm dying for the truth
For something real
Something more than just a physical attraction
I'm dying for somebody to care because of my beliefs and what I have to give emotionally

The answer
I have no clue
But I write this to you know who?
Hopefully you will read this
And ask yourself a question
Is it really a big mistake?
