Because of that man she died.

by Treakle   Jun 1, 2005

She seemed so alone
If only i'd helped
She picked up the phone
Nobody spoke
She left her voice
Of what she would do
I thought she had more choice

She said it so clear
She told me everything
All the things she had feared.
As I listened it was too late,
The time for this to happen was here.
I looked at the clock
I was way too late
For she had already taken her fate.

She told me of the man she hated
If only I'd helped
My response was so belated
But now it was me who had to act,
And cope with her parents who had waited,
For the answer to where their daughter was,
For now her life, it had been lost.

The time will come i know it will,
She should be with me here,
And that man should lie there still,
Forever will i fear,
That it is my fault she took her life,
I was not there as she used her knife,
She dug right in till blood ran fast,
If only i could change the past.,
