Break a heart
break a promise
break a person
break a window
he's throwing stones at her window
trying to grasp her attention in just any way possible
desperate for her to look into his eyes
to see the love
pain, desperation, longing and compassion
desperate for attention
anything that would mean she knows he's still there
and he still cares
"oh baby, please, you know i love you. i'd do anything to be with you again"
he whispers into her ears
she just says "i can't"
he turns.
he leaves.
he cries.
and he dies.
he's gone to fast to see the tear roll down her cheek
"i can't..." she whispers
"...live without you" she screams
desperate for him to hear
"come back" she sighs
but he's gone
he can't hear anything
it's hard to concentrate on anything when you think you've just had your heart broken
maybe that'll teach you to stop
stop and listento everything she's got to say
