My Reading Lamp

by samuel   Jun 1, 2005

Flies do the fireworks
Aided by my reading lamp;
They won't let me be.
Morsels of bread
Are left on the table,
Younger siblings did not
Clean up after them.
I have distracting thoughts
In my head,
I despair at removing them.
I want to read -
What then is all this!
