The doll in the corner

The doll in the corner
I still love you, Can you not see?
What all of this is doing to me
And don't you even notice?
Are you that blind?
Do you not care of what I miss?
Or just fail to watch now I'm not in your mind

When I was with you I played second best
Your second favorite toy to parade above the rest
The hurt is tearing me apart
I cannot cope with having to see

That doll in the corner
Whom you used to love
One who grabs your attention whenever she can
And I wish you could give me your full attention
But theres history there
One I cannot compete

I want to stop really I do
But I just keep digging my grave loving you
I want to wish it all away
I want me to stop loving you today
But saying all this it just wont work
The knife is stuck sharp and firm

Because there's still that doll in the corner
Whom you used to love
One who grabs your attention whenever she can
And I wish you could give me your full attention
But theres history there
One I cannot compete
