Melancholy Spirits Are The Sea (Upgraded)

by samuel   Jun 1, 2005

The feeling of deep thought is solemn
Melancholy spirits are the sea
Seeking to douche
The warmth of bliss

Dark pulses and swooning sentiments
Cold putrid ash in the heart
Faintly dizziness and sad reflections
Like grey in the mist

Masts try against the gales
Knees kiss the earth to Benevolence
The water nigh our chin
Like a flood may drown us soon

Worrisome tears and ill bile
Chill droughts on the spine
Cussed droning and painful musings
Like water in the boots

Giddily giddily giddily
The boatmen row in the vessel
Aurora will refuse her they say
But determination will force them
To stay on their travails

Steadily steadily steadily
The shore is in sight
It is possible they think
So no compromise this time
The boat must come in

Surely surely surely
The boat is in
And brightness comes to dusk they feel
For our ill hearts redeemed
We suck in the air of peace.
