The inside scars

by Tiny Reader   Jun 1, 2005

If I were to cry would you feel guilt?
Would that make you stop?
Or would laugh and say I'm weak?
Would it make things even worse?

If I were popular would you do it?
If I were pretty would you still hate?
If I were richer would you still treat me the same?
Or would these change how you act?

If I were helpless would you pity me?
Would this pity make you help?
Instead of pushing to see how far you can go,
Without seeing my soul shatter?

You won't break me down,
I won't let the pain show,
I won't let you see how you effect me,
You will never see the inside scars

You will find those questions will be aswered as you get older! The ones that act like this now will have a wide awakening as they become adults. You will find once your out of school things will change a great deal. I think your questions helped capture your feelings! I never had a problem in school and I was never judgmental so I had a wide variety of friends. I watched so many people go through so much pain from the words of others! Good job writing this! ~Brooke~
