Make up your mind

~This poem is about a friend of mine. She doesn't go to the same school as me, but I still care a lot about her. This poem might not make a lot of sense, but it helped me express what I was feeling. Please rate and comment. They are greatly appreciated.~

You say you hate her
Despise her beauty
Her way with him
You say you would hate it
If that friendship that we shared
Started to blossom again
You say you hate seeing her with him
You want him to
Completely ignore her
You even ask him to end his friendship with her
That’s fine,
You have your reasons
But what makes
Absolutely no sense at all
Is how you feel so strongly about his opinion of her
And yet you don’t seem to realize
That every time
You lock arms with her
Every time
You confide in her
Every time you act kind towards her
She is getting her way
Little by little your relationship with him
Is deteriorating
Face it
How long can this last?
Every time you act like you do with us
Only its with her
Every time you befriend her
Intentionally or not
She is getting what she wants
She is breaking you guys up
And making you lean towards her
Making him look like more of the bad guy
When they are both just as wrong
Maybe I am jealous
Of this friendship that you swear isn’t there
But I’m not stupid
Those that really care
Like I do
We see
All that goes on
All that you do
And don’t think for a moment that her motives are good
She’s not stupid
She plans everything
She waits for the right moment
To burst on in
She sees me watching you guys
And she draws you closer
Knowing full well that I hate it
I hate every moment you spend together
Every secret you tell her
Because I know its going to come back around
And bite you in the ass
So make up your mind
Do what you want
But know that everything you do
Unfortunate but true
Has a consequence
And your actions now
Are only proving that you will end up
Hurting even more
Those tears you have shed
Those feelings of dread
They’re nothing compared to what you will feel
Later on
If you don’t make up your mind
And stick with what you know you should do
You may end up regretting it
So go with your gut
And what you know should be true
Because until you do
You are slowly killing
This friendship that I treasure so much
So please for your sake and mine
