From The First Time We Spoke Till Now

Part 1.

The first time we spoke I called my friend and you were there,
We spoke about our lives and other things like our birthdays,
They are on the same day but I am 6 hours older,
I really wanted to meet you.

The first day we meet face to face was on a Friday,
My second day at our friend’s house,
I found you very cute,
You had a girlfriend and I liked one of your friends.

There were 7 of us there and we were mucking around,
You tickled me right in the ribs and I had a sore ankle,
So I slapped you and you hit your nose the wall and it bleed,
I felt so mean I couldn't stop apologizing.

I noticed that you thought our friend’s friend was cute,
And I kind of got jealous even though I just asked another guy out,
I tried to hide it from you and I did I think,
I wish I knew what made me like you.

The second time I was over at our friend’s house,
Our friend invited you over because he knew I would fall for you and I realized that you were so nice and kind,
And he was right I fell for you and I so badly wanted to kiss you,
But I couldn't because I was going out with one of your other friends.

I told our friend that I liked you and he told me he knew it,
I dumped your other friend and asked our friend to invite you over,
When he called to invite you over you sounded upset,
He told you that I liked you and he told me that you screamed out ‘YES’.

Our friend’s sister and I went out shopping for the day,
We went to your house to take you our friends but there was no answer at the door,
So you ended up coming over later and I was trying all my new clothes on,
I couldn’t wait for you to come over.

When you arrived I was so nervous and I tried to look calm.
When you walked into the room I was in the first thing you did was kiss me.
I was so shocked and I knew that we were going out after that,
And I’m so happy to be going out with you.

Our friend was asked to go to work that night so we were left with his brother and sister,
We laid down on his bed I had my head on your stomach,
I felt so safe being in your arms,
So loved and I knew that when I left he would miss me.

You stayed over for the night,
The next morning we woke up at 7:00am after having a late night,
I was so comfy and I didn’t want you to go,
You gave me another blanket and pillow and you packed up and left.
