Crying over her grave
Was trying to be brave
But she left it all
No one caught her fall
Sad and alone
no longer accident prone
Watching them lower her down
Into the warm sun kissed ground
The hard wood fades
Into the dark dirt shade
She was my best friend
A best friend who didn't pretend
A friendship with no end
Her love she always lent
I watched her cry herself to sleep
Watched her slit her wrists so deep
Watched her cry out her eyes
Listened to them tell their lies
And the sad thing as i slowly fade away
Is that now i'm gone today
I lost myself to me
i couldn't be me
I had to lie away those nights
And just try not to fight
