LAST WORDS

by marilyn marti   Oct 10, 2003

You left, mother, that's all there is
I cried almost every night, I won't forgive
The past is overwith
You had your chance
But you turned it down
Don't think it's ok to come back now
Others don't seem to understand why I am the way I am
My life and people have made me like this
The crying, the lying still exists
Even if my heart still bleeds
I will eventually heal
And i'll see what's really me
But for now i'll stay and ask God for help
He'll give me the strength i've never felt
And just in case you didn't know
These are my last words
For you, and everyone else.
