When we went out
You never gave reason to mistrust
Now you're gone
That's all gone and dust
Lie by lie
Told to my damn face
Your losing my trust
Your losing this case
Leave me here with your lies
Leave me alone to die
Leave me here to leave
Leave me alone to cry
My last effort of holding on
Slips past my fingers
Your last effort of coming back
No longer lingers
I still love you to death
But you have a new date
Maybe this is it
This is my fate
Tip my hat
Open my eyes
To a new world
Where everyone dies
