My Water Fairy

by lindzy   Jun 2, 2005

There was a little fairy
Who lived down by the sea
She was very special
I knew her, and she knew me

She frolicked along the coast line
Fluttering wings of gold
But then one day my fairy
Grew boisterous and bold

She ventured to the woodlands
Where she would meet her doom
My little water fairy
Perished all too soon

She learned very quickly
How cruel life can be
When she went into the woodlands
Where she’d spend eternity

The woodlands they were dark
And evil was lurking there
The evil wanted my fairy
And this evil wouldn’t share

Goodbye to my fairy
I hope in peace she rests
All because of those evil
Woodlanding horrid pests
