The Simplicity of It

by Eden   Jun 3, 2005

Things fade...
But I will never die.
I was never a slave to the likes of love.
My monstrosity is coming alive and I will never end.
So cower in the dark, all you whimpering fools. I am ready for my share of pain but not regret.
I am here...as you shall not be.

Although I have been forgotten...
I will always be remembered for who I am now.

Mysterious and dark are my eyes,
And scream you would if you saw into them.
A black sun rises out of my sigh
And a whip from within for my tongue.
I have let go completely...
I never really hated you...
But now I have found a use...
An excuse to call you my own...
For that is all you are to me...
...a mere possession of skin and bone.
