Ever since grade 3
We knew we were best friends to be
Always side by side
We were ready for the ride
Of our life which we would not hide
From each other
For we were best friends
And thats how best friends should treat each another
As we grew a little older
She became a lot colder
Alway feeling sad and depressed
Always failing all her tests
I tried to talk to her
But she tuned me out
Telling me there was nothing to be worried about
That she'd be fine
But i knew there was something on her mind
I shrugged it off
What could I do?
I always thought she would make it through
Then last night I heard the call
She blew out her brains all over the back wall
I feel down if tears
And realized the truth to all my fears
I still remember the best friends we used to be
And i hope while she is looking down on me
She smiles wide
As i fill up with pride
