Mother I Could Never Repay

by Sarah Ann   Jun 3, 2005

For nine months you carried me
In your womb I slept away
You were my breath and energy
And you still are until today

At night when I would cry
You were there to wipe my tears
Just look at where you gotten me
How I grown throughout the years

No one was there to feed me
Or cover me when I was cold
Yet you were there to comfort me
When I was lost and so alone

Dear mother you changed me
You have affected my whole life
You did a perfect job in raising me
Being a mother and a wife

You hardly ever judged me
Or ever tried to let me down
In one second you can bring a smile
From a sad unwelcome frown

Though I hardly ever say it
I still want you now to know
You are the one I love the most
Although it barely ever shows

For you carried me so long
Bringing me into this world
You taught me everything I know
I am proud to be your girl

I know your love will never end
As mine will never fade
But anything I try to do for you
Will not match to what you gave

For you were always there for me
And you are here until this day
And even though I love you so much,
My love could never repay...

The love of a mother is so precious and cannot add to anything else in this world...And most of the time we fail to realize it...
