The Rain Only Gets Wetter

Most people don't understand my life,
I've had it too easy.
Something just feels wrong now,
That thought makes me uneasy.

There must be something hard in store for me,
To balance out what I've had.
Like yin and yang,salt and pepper,
It makes sense now and it makes me sad.

I know that it's only fair.
I've seen the shit that people go through,
And it haunts me at night,
If everything secure turns out to be untrue.

So whatever comes to pass,
I was warned for the better.
I am prepared now,
"As life goes on, the rain only gets wetter".
