That Night...

One day I know I will just give it up,
Sick of life and all its lies,
So I’m gonna tell you what happened that night,
Where the last thing I saw was the dark light.

All day I was being teased and tortured,
My friends calling me names,
Backstabbing me, I was there game they played,
But tonight would be the night where I fade.

Hanging around with myself,
All my friends abandoning me,
I knew I had lost whatever I had,
And tonight was the night I stab.

I ran all the way home that day,
The sun was shining too brightly,
My parents would not be home for ages,
Enough to fill in the final pages.

The final pages of my life,
And to return the book back to the shelf,
One life over now,
And another one, but how?

I had two lives,
One everyone saw as the bright me,
The one that was full of light,
Who did not stay up at night.

But there was another,
Which nobody ever saw,
And they will never see it,
Cos I’m gonna take my last hit.

Retrieving the knife from the kitchen,
And run into the bathroom,
I close the door behind,
And say goodbye to my mind.

I sink into the water,
The warmth flows through my body,
This was my final time to,
Experience what was true.

I reached for the knife,
I wanted a clean cut,
I did not want momma cleaning my blood,
My blood was gonna be a flood.

First was my wrist,
It was really deep,
But it did not go deep enough,
Because I was not all that tough.

I contemplate if I’m making the right choice,
If anyone will ever notice,
That Michael Frontier,
Was no longer here.

I decide to slice my throat,
Maybe my death will be quick,
Hopefully I will die soon,
And I can float to the moon.

I am now buried in the ground,
There’s only one person standing over my grave,
That’s my great mother,
Standing over the graves of me and my brother.
