Come Home Running

by kopernicus   Jun 4, 2005

3000 miles away isn't far enough
You should know I love my family, but...
Sometimes I feel unfairly treaten
Verbal and physical fights, unbeaten
Still fighting, I went away, unseen
But I wonder...what do they think of me?

He left in the middle of the night
The son has gone down on our lives
Although we fought, there was love
And thankfulness to Him above
Now we wonder, did he care
About our son and troubles here?

I pray they'll want me coming back.

We pray he'll soon return again.

Maybe they don't want me, for things I lack...

Please soon come running, running home!
