A Broken Heart

The day our paths crossed
And you stumbled into my life
Never would I have realized
You'd bring me so much strife.

You gave me those feelings
That I felt as a young girl
I simply felt like a tornado
My emotions you twirled.

You left me speechless
With not a thing to say
My desire you set on fire
In such a passionate way.

The way you'd look at me
I felt love within your heart
If things only had been different
Our love would never stopped.

Never will my feelings change
Though we've gone our separate ways
You will forever live in my heart
For the remainder of my days.
