My silent tears

I hate the way things turn out
every thing is always wrong
And when good things happen
they only happen for so long

My life is not grand
it's not all good good
Nobody believes me when I say
I would runaway if I could

Everyday i feel like crying
I feel I'm all alone
I feel like this at school
but I feel worse when i get home

I wasn't always like this
I actually always used to smile
But now every time I'm happy
It only lasts a while

Things will only change
when i make them change
But until then, I'll have to
stay the same

I'm gonna make myself happy
or at least I'm gonna try
And until my days of happiness come
I'm gonna have to wait, and silently cry.
