You Will Never Know

by Megan   Jun 4, 2005

How can people say
You haven't known her very long
Two puzzle pieces fit together
No matter how long you wait
To join them as one
That's how I feel
As if we're locked as one
Inseparable by anything
Life can throw at us
To explain the feeling
I get when we slow dance
To a lame country song
Would be like telling someone
What the meaning of life is
They will never comprehend
And probably never care
But that's alright by me
Because as long as I'm happy
And can make you laugh
No one can take that from me
I would fight so hard for her
No matter how much
Pain, anger, sadness it involves
You will never know
How much I feel for her
I hope you find out someday though
But if you don't
Know now and be jealous
That I'm the happiest man alive.
