I was tired and I've been stressed,
Bags under my eyes, my hair all messed,

So I tried so hard to be perfect,

Although I felt hideous inside,
I tried not to let it show through,
I wanted to look amazing,
For you to stand there staring,
To make you feel lucky to have this thing,
To make you see how much I'm trying,
Trying to be the best I can be,
Trying to look stunning for you,
Trying to show people you're not unlucky,
But I guess I can't show what's not true,
You deserve someone who has beauty,
Although I know loves not skin deep,
You deserve so much better than me,
Someone you can be proud when people see,
You don't say I'm ugly, never,
Not once, I don't blame you,
I just look in the mirror and see my reflection,
But I don't see how I've got you,
You don't try you just are,
You can do anything and you're the most perfect by far,
You're confident, you are who you are,
So why are you with me? it's bizarre,
Maybe one day I'll feel I deserve,
The breathtaking boy that is you,
I'll feel I can measure up to those other girls,
