Daddy, Let Me Go

by Krissta   Jun 4, 2005

I know I'm only 14 Daddy
But I'm more mature than you think
So Daddy I want you to know
That I want you to let me go.

I know I'm your baby girl
And you don't want me to grow up
But Daddy I found the guy of my dreams
The love of my life
And I don't want it messed up.

I know I'm growing up to fast
For you to see the child in me
But Daddy please know
That I will always be your baby girl
No matter how much or how fast I grow.

So Daddy just please let me go
Let me make my own mistakes
And let me learn from them too.
Let me Daddy please take my own chances in life.
I won't follow anyones footsteps
That would just be way way to low.

Daddy, now you must know,
That I love you and always will
So Daddy just let me go
And just for the tip
I will always be your baby girl.
